DORF (film festival)

DORF, Festival - Croatia is festival of music documentaries.

Major event originated in 2007 and was organized by Association of movie fans "RARE" Vinkovci. In addition to screenings, in off programme there are photo- and painting-exhibitions, workshops, concerts, book promotions, round tables...
Mostly concentrated on covering of regional documentary production, after few years has opened to international works, and was a member of AMUSIFF (Association of music film festivals).
Festival is hosted simultaneosly in cities Vinkovci and Rijeka, in variety of venues (Art-kino Croatia, Gradsko kazalište Vinkovci...)
Previous guests include Don Letts, who attended in 2008. as a festival guest and presented his new
Clash movie, Donald McGlynn (USA), David Kleijwegt (Netherlands), Peter Braatz (Germany)...
DORF ON THE ROAD

Each year after the festival, DORF goes touring to other countries and cities in this region - in 5 years were presented highlights from the festival in 49 cities - all over Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
SELECTION

Movies (all formats!) are selected in 3 categories - regional, international and out of competition ("secret history of rock"). Festival goes in first half of March, each year.
