History

The club started playing in the 3a División professionally under the name Cruz Azul Hidalgo, then some seasons later got promoted to 2a División B then in one single season got promoted to 2a División A. Finally the team successfully got promoted to Primera División A or now known as Liga de Ascenso. After Some seasons playing in Primera División A and disputing one finals, the team changed their name to Cruz Azul Oaxaca and move to Oaxaca under Directive orders. After some seasons it was decided to move back to Jasso,Hidalgo and brought back the name Cruz Azul Hidalgo
