The estate was formerly a seminary; it is now part of the Crozer-Chester Medical Center. The arboretum features large secimen trees dating from the mid-19th century, native herbaceous plants and shrubs, lawns, two ponds, natural springs, and walkways. The campus also features the 10 acres (40,468.6 m²) Leona Gold Garden and Crozer Greenhouse.
