on July 7, 2009. They uncovered an FCC filing with Zii and Zii EGG logos on a rectangular shaped product with a HD camera above it. The filings revealed connectivity through Wireless LAN and Bluetooth. Additionally, they revealed that the player would be touchscreen.
The Creative Zii is the consumer model, and the Zii EGG
is the developers model. It is assumed that it will be powered by Zii Labs' ZMS-05 processor, which was revealed at CES 2009. Zii Labs is a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Technology.
