Cowboys was a British TV sitcom that aired on the ITV network during the early 1980s.

The show was created by Peter Learmouth whom would go on to create Granada TV sitcom "Surgical Spirit and starred Lancastrian Character-actor Roy Kinnear as "Joe Jones" "whose small building firm (Joe Jones Ltd.) hardly seems to do anything right at all" with co-stars David Kelly

However the show didn't have anything to do with the Wild West. Instead, it was based on the British colloquial use of "cowboy
