. It is the third most expensive highschool built in Canadian history, following Sir Thomas of Alton in Rendour, Saskatchewan and Georgetown Secondary in Georgetown, Ontario.Corpus Christi was the first Halton school to participate in the "Save the Green" program, have a very successful year.

The school name, in Latin, Corpus Christi, celebrates the Feast of the Body of Christ or the Eucharist. It remembers and honors the institution of Sacrament of Holy Communion at the Last Supper, and is celebrated on the Sunday following Trinity Sunday.

Athletic Banquet

The Athletic Banquet is one of the main athletic events of the school year and is usually held in the first or second week of June. It is the night where Corpus Christi Athletes are honored and acknowledged for their athletic achievements, outstanding performances, and qualities. Numerous awards are presented to a wide range of individuals from all grade levels including: Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, Sportsmanship, Athlete of the Year, etc.

The event is the best way to conclude the season and brings all student athletes and coaches to celebrate and reflect on the year, and recognize the sacrifices that everyone has made along the way.

Corpus Christi Christmas Concert

Corpus Christi Christmas Concert (also known as C4) is an event where students were allowed to show their talents on stage. The event is held on the last day of school before Christmas break.

Halloween

On Halloween, Corpus Christi students are invited to participate in a costume contest.

Pink day

An event where Corpus Christi hosts a "Pink day-fight to end breast cancer" Pink Longhorn shirts are sold at the School

Badminton

Corpus Christi Junior Badminton team won A Flight champions 2008-2009, A flight champions 2009-2010.

Football

Corpus Christi won the Junior Boys D2 Football championship in their first year of existence.
In their first year with a senior program the following year, Corpus Christi won the Senior Boys D3 Football championship.
Corpus Christi also won the senior D2 Football championship in 2010.

Soccer

Corpus Christi Longhorns beat the Milton District Mustangs 4-1, claiming a Halton high school senior boys' AA soccer championship in their first year.(2008–2009) They also won a spot in OFSAA in the second year of the schools existence. (2009-2010). In 2010, The senior boys won the triple crown of soccer, Haltons, GHAC and OFSAA GOLD in Kingston Ontario, with only giving up 1 goal during the 3 day tournament.

"Greenhorns" Environmental Club

A group of students that takes initiative to indoctrinate the staff, and student body of Corpus Christi in getting in the green and blue cart programs. Burlington Mall's 2010 ecoHeroes.
