Background

Corazon has been studying piano practice and theory since the age of 10 and has obtained a distinction in all graded examinations under the Trinity College of Music. She is still studying voice technique at the Johann Strauss School of Music, Valletta under mezzo-soprano Claire Massa. Besides music, Corazon holds a doctorate in law from the University of Malta.

Ghanja tal-Poplu 2008

Corazon, with her song "Illejla b'xejn" won the prize for Best Interpretation. The song looks at the subject of prostitution from a humane viewpoint.

Ghanja tal-Poplu 2009

In 2009, Corazon participated and won again first place performing alongside singer-songwriter Walter Micallef with the song "Tal-aħħar". The song was written and composed by Corazon giving the point of view of a couple going through a painful separation.

Ghanja tal-Poplu 2010

Corazon managed to win again first place in 2010, this time with the song "Mill-għajnejn ta' tifla". The song was performed with a group of musicians dubbed "Il-ħbieb tal-qalb" and has a folkish/lullaby style which is unlike any of Corazon's previous trend of composing acoustic ballads and songs.

Malta International Hit Song Festival 2010

In April 2010, Corazon placed 2nd at the Malta International Hit Song Festival with the song 'Set the Night on Fire' composed by Philip Vella.

Recent Activities

At present, Corazon is resident singer on Kalamita aired on One TV, Malta's most popular and successful afternoon tv programme. She also performs in many venues and events organised locally.
