The Contact Consortium is a California 501c(3) non-profit corporation founded in 1995 by software architect Bruce Damer, anthropologist Jim Funaro, and science fiction writer Keith Ferrel to serve as a catalyst and forum for the emerging medium of multi-user virtual world
