newspaper which published each day a less-than-poetic rhyming couplet under Constable Care's byline, encouraging younger readers to be safety-conscious and civic-minded. Since moving to a different newspaper, Constable Care has lost his former moustache and his face is now less angular.

Constable Care is a not for profit community based foundation working in partnership with the Western Australia Police and primary schools across the State with the specific focus on teaching children about safety, crime prevention and the promotion of respect and responsibility. Constable Care is a nationally registered charity and specialises in the area of early intervention life skills education. The focus is aimed at protecting our next generation and "Teaching Kids To Do The Right Thing".

The Constable Care Child Safety Foundation travels around Western Australia to perform interactive plays and puppet shows. Based in Maylands
