History

Computhink was established in 1994 in Chicago, IL. Since that time, Computhink has built a comprehensive network of domestic and international Computhink Resellers covering 34 countries on 6 continents.

Originally, they offered their document management solution under the name "The Paperless Office

" on a 32-bit SQL database. Now known as ViewWise, the software enables users to create an electronic filing system composed of cabinets, drawers, and folders, using index keys to manage and search a multitude of documents. At the time, the concept of an out-of-the-box document management solution for $2,500 was unheard of, enabling "The Paperless Office", and eventually, ViewWise, to gain traction as an enterprise content management
