Characteristics

The Comisana has loppy ears and both sexes are polled (hornless). The face is reddish brown. The body is white (unicolored).

Mature rams weigh 65 kg (143.3 lb) and ewes weigh 40 kg (88.2 lb). At the withers and at maturity, rams grow to about 75 cm (29.5 in) and ewes to 60 cm (23.6 in). Mature ewes can produce 2 l (0.528344074568369 US gal) per day during a well managed lactation period.
