The team kit is black and white vertical stripes with black shorts and socks, similar to the kit of Newcastle United, though a club website claims that the inspiration for these colours was the visit of Newcastle's hated rivals Sunderland AFC.

The home of El Porvenir is the Enrique De Roberts stadium which has a capacity of 14,000. The club has not played in the top division since the beginning of the professional era of Argentinian football in 1931.
