Show Beginning

The show did not begin on the radio. In 2008, Clark created a series of podcasts called the Clarkcast and hosted the audio on his website. According to his online bio, he was "looking for an outlet to express his political viewpoints and arguments". From there, the show expanded to live online broadcasts.

In 2010, a local news/talk radio station began to air the show live to southeast Michigan.

Format

The show's format mainly consists of Clark talking about local and national news, focusing more on the latter. His opinions and commentaries are often brash and right to the point, delivered in a shock jock

 manner at times. The show is also branded as comedic, playing and acting out live skits to satirize the topics of the week.

The Clarkcast features other voices and opinions as well. Clark conducts weekly interviews with a wide array of guests and politicians, allowing their input to the relevant topic at hand.

Clark will begin the program by stating, "coming to you from the People's Republic of Ann Arbor" - a phrase that many conservatives have adopted to describe the way they believe are the left-leaning tendencies of the city and the University of Michigan
