The students' day is from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students have four core classes: language arts, math, science, and social studies. They are also scheduled into various related arts classes each year.

The mission of Clark-Pleasant Middle School is to:

• Develop the potential for each learner in the school
• Build in each learner the skills necessary for lifelong learning, and in a more immediate sense, for success in high school
• Develop a feeling of self worth and positive self-esteem and self-discipline that will allow each learner to cope with his/her changing world
• Provide effective instruction in each discipline that is taught.
• Provide adult role models that will exemplify appropriate educational, social, and moral behaviors.
• Expose students to skills they will need to optimize the potential of the technologies that will emerge during their lifetimes.
