In 2002, Circa acquired AOK Custom Metals, a custom metal fabricating operation located in Markham, Ontario, renaming it Circa Metals. In 2004, Circa Metals acquired Scarborough, Ontario based Hydel Enterprises Ltd, a manufacturer of electric and gas meter products, from Electric & Gas Technology Inc.
