. The plot deals with a young mouse named Chrysanthemum, who loves her name until classmates tease her about it. However, a pregnant teacher (called Delphinium) defends her and her family comfort her. At the end of the story, the teacher gives birth to a girl and decides to name her Chrysanthemum too.
