. He changed his last name to Rivel by choosing to take his wife's last name when they were married. After the divorce in 2008 he changed his name back to Liljegren.

On April 29, 2008 Christian announced his departure from Narnia. There were no controversy between the band members, Christian said he had to give his body rest.

Christian is making music and singing once again as the lead vocalist with a new band called Golden Resurrection. Their debut album was released in November 2010.
