The Chorduroys are an all-male, collegiate a cappella
group from Lafayette College
in Easton, Pennsylvania
. Originally founded under the name of Chaos in 1996, they decided to change their name to be consistent with the a cappella tradition of having a cheesy musical double entendre
for a name. They chose "The Chorduroys" out of their love for the most sensuous article of clothing that a man can own, corduroy
pants. The Chorduroys have a long history of performing on college hill, and all over the east coast.
(ICCA). They have won awards at these competitions, including outstanding choreography. The Chorduroys advanced to the ICCA regional semi-finals for the first time in 2005, which was held at Cornell University
