. Originally founded under the name of Chaos in 1996, they decided to change their name to be consistent with the a cappella tradition of having a cheesy musical double entendre

History

The Chorduroys have competed in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella

 (ICCA). They have won awards at these competitions, including outstanding choreography. The Chorduroys advanced to the ICCA regional semi-finals for the first time in 2005, which was held at Cornell University
