She was also part of the 2006 Fundraising Chair for the Women’s Council of realtors, and was presented with the “Affiliate of the Year” Award from the chapter. Charmaine is currently the Special Events Chair for GNAR, and is responsible for their largest annual fundraiser, a golf tournament that raises money to build a home through Habitat for Humanity.

Charmaine was a contestant on season 5 of the Reality TV series The Apprentice in 2006. Charmaine had a strong showing in The Apprentice, lasting for most of the season until she was fired in week 10 for "weak leadership" and "poor project management" as the project manager in that week's task at the Hair Cuttery
