Sodium
While taking courses at Belmont, Warrix started to find himself as a musician. He constantly played gigs around town and formed different bands. One such band he became a part of was an alternative rock group named SodiumSodium

Halfway to Hazard
After Sodium’s run ended Warrix moved to Nashville to pursue his own music. In 2004 he reconnected with fellow Kentucky-bred singer/songwriter David Tolliver. The two began writing songs together. Warrix and Tolliver formed a duo, Halfway to HazardHalfway to Hazard

Hot Country Songs chart while the album rose to #14 on Billboard’s US Country Albums chart. Warrix and Tolliver also toured with McGraw from 2007-2008. On October 19, 2009 they released their second album Come on Time, produced by Warrix. The album did not chart. Warrix and Tolliver have recorded over 90 songs together.
In January 2010 the pair announced they would take an indefinite break as a duo.
Current endeavors
Warrix is the creator of the Crockettsville Charity Concert and Trail Ride. The event received an East Kentucky Leadership Humanitarian Award in 2009 recognizing contribution to the advancement of arts and culture in the Eastern Kentucky Region. On May 11, 2010 Warrix participated in the Red Carpet Celebrity Charity Concert and Silent Auction benefitting the MusiCares Nashville Flood Relief efforts, an event which raised nearly $30,000.
