 and many more famous artists. The company achieved something of a triumph in the early 1950s when it produced many recordings of rare and under-rated Verdi operas to coincide with the 50th anniversary of his death in 1901. Cetra recordings are often now reissued by the company Warner Fonit Cetra.

Cetra Records also produced popular music recordings from at least the World War Two years through the 1960's. One of their famous instrumental artists is accordionist Michele Corino, soloist with Italy's prominent "Orchestra Angelini" until he moved to San Francisco, CA in 1948. "Mike" ran a prominenet accordion studio in "North Beach Music" (a.k.a. Corino Music) and taught, worked and recorded with brothers Fabio and Gianfranco Giotta, part of the San Francisco based, world-famous Caffe Trieste. Gianfranco shared the studio with Mike on the 1963 Cetra album titled "Rome to Paris" and again with both brothers in the 1982 release of "Saturday Live at Caffe Trieste" (on Trieste Records)and also in 1999 with dedicated instrumental tracks from the formerly mentioned 1963 Cetra album as part of Gianfranco Giotta's compilation titled "Senza Te", also on Trieste Records.
