The Center for Liberty in the Middle East (CLIME) is a non-profit organization that supports courageous individuals and civic groups spreading democratic values of liberty and tolerance in the Middle East. Through its network of democratic activists throughout the region, CLIME advocates peaceful transitions to political systems that protect individual liberties, enable full political participation, and respect ethnic, religious and political pluralism. CLIME works with Middle Eastern democrats to deepen their societies’ awareness of the building blocks of liberal democracy while enhancing their capacity to galvanize grassroots constituencies for political reform.
