This convention center features a 20,000-square-meter convention hall and numerous function rooms. These facilities, on the 22nd level, are easily accessed from the street via a dedicated bank of elevators, are situated in close proximity to the hotel ballroom and meeting rooms allowing the two facilities to be used concurrently. . The mass of the podium is a succession of concentric circles layered around the tower shaft. The glass and metal cylinder rises directly from the street to a height of approximately 189 meters. Its architectural expression consists of an arrangement of horizontal banding overlaid onto a strong vertical framework. Dynamism and the play of transparency versus solidity are the hallmarks of the overall design. These elements combine to create a building whose lightness belies its large size of 56 floors. The building is 235m high (771 ft) making it the fourth tallest building in Thailand.
