The team played home games their first season at three arenas; West Gymnasium, Columbus High School, and Young Arena

The team's first season was a disappointment on and off the court. The Kings were 3-14, and led in scoring by Nelson Maisonet (21.4 ppg) and was coached by Anthony Thomas. John Holmes will coach the squad for the 2006 season.
