According to news reports, Dennis is working on a new album under the name Sexcassettes, which she plans to release for 2008. It is reported that it has a "band feel" to it, which is why she is releasing her material under band name. Dennis hopes to release the first single, "Killer Love", by the end of 2008. However, nothing has been released in 2008, expecting to have a release in 2009.

Dennis has achieved immense critical and commercial success as a songwriter, winning a number of awards and penning dozens of hit singles.
