The school is located on 3 acres (12,140.6 m²) in Fayetteville, NC, with one main building housing the chapel, classrooms, offices and library. The College is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) from Cross Creek Mall and approximately 10 miles (16.1 km) west of Interstate 95.Student body
The school primarily serves adult learners already established in ministry. Daytime courses generally consist of fulltime pastors and retirees strongly versed in the Christian scriptures. Night courses attract full and part-time pastors, as well as those in other ministerial functions. The student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1, and most CBC students have fulltime employment. History
Carolina Bible College was founded as the Cape Fear School of Theology in 1973 by Dr. Bill Owens. In 1978, Dr. Ralph Richardson took over the leadership role, and a site was purchased and classes started in 1980, at which time the current name of the school was adopted. Dr. Bill Korver became the college's fourth President in April, 2004.The school currently lists 20 faculty members.
Accreditation
Carolina Bible College is a candidate school with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) pursuing full U.S. National Accreditation.
