She is married to cameraman Dave Flynn on Sunday, 22 October 2006, and on 8 February 2010 she was gently corralled by Sunrise co-host Oliver Driver into announcing that she and her husband are expecting their first child in July 2010. On 30 June 2010, Carly and Dave had a baby girl Tilly Zoe Flynn.

Carly is currently pregnant with baby number two and is due in February 2012.

Career

Carly Flynn began her career in print journalism for the Herald community group newspapers before working for Counties Manukau Radio station then reporting, presenting and producing for Prime TV
