Carla convinced Tiffany to walk into the middle of the road while ill, nearly killing her. At the end of the year, Carla took it upon herself to sort out an abusive truck driver by getting him arrested for drink driving, however nothing went to plan and he ended up driving into reception, fatally injuring Carmen

In 1996 Bernie realized his wife was mentally unstable and began to beat her. Carla started an affair with Sam Aleni

and promised she would break up with Bernie. When an earthquake hit, Bernie was knocked out by a large candlestick. Carla found him and beat him to death with the candlestick, making it appear as though he had died in the earthquake. Sam rejected Carla and so she put broken glass in his food, shredding his insides. Carla soon realized that the staff suspected her of the murder and she slit her wrists. Ellen had her sectioned, causing Carla to attempt to murder her. Carla was then sent to a psychiatric ward and has not been mentioned since.
