In July 2009, the district proposed a 3.8% increase in school taxes.

A poll commissioned by the district found that 68 percent of parents have a "somewhat favorable" or "very favorable" impression of the district.

On June 22, 2010, voters approved a $250 million, tax-neutral bond to finance new construction in the district, including a new high school in Draper, a new elementary school in the White City

In May 2011, the district broke ground on the as-yet-unnamed high school in Draper, to be completed in 2013.
