California State Park Rangers
Encyclopedia
California State Park Peace Officers (Ranger/Lifeguard) are fully sworn Peace Officers who perform a wide variety of law enforcement activities. Duties include law enforcement, aquatic rescues(lifeguards), search and rescue, emergency medical response, interpretation of natural, historic and cultural resources, resource protection, park management, and patrol.
