Chapman is best known as the founder and director of the award-winning Crescent Super Band and the Little Big band and six other bands.Additionally, Chapman is President of Caleb Chapman Music, a professional musician training program. Previously, Chapman was the founder and executive director of The Music School, one of the largest private music instruction institutions in the US. Chapman currently serves on the executive board of the GAM Foundation, presenters of the JazzSLC Concert Series. Chapman is recognized for his contributions to music education worldwide.
