. Broomgrove Junior School is located towards the top end of the village. The school works hard to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment where both children and adults are valued. Broomgrove Junior School is located in impressive grounds containing a large playground with play area, Wildlife Garden, Allotment and our newly finished Quiet Garden. The school grounds also include vast playing fields and an onsite swimming pool – both being shared between the Infant and Junior Schools. As a school we are very proud of our extra-curricular provision – with regular clubs and trips we can be sure that children leave Broomgrove having developed both their academic and inter-personal skills.
We are very keen to develop long term links with the local community and strive to ensure that we give something back to the community that supports us so wholeheartedly; some of our many very talented year 6 children have been assisting elderly residents in their use of ICT at the Britannia Court Sheltered housing complex. The children have found this very rewarding and the residents look forward to their weekly dose of ICT!
