 or father, Murray however. Murray gets hired at the bar and disapproves of Brodie's work manner. They get over their feud for the good of Bella and soon become good friends.

Brodie decides to buy The IV with Murray but when his sister declines a loan, he is forced to get money from loan sharks.

2011

Brodie makes up several lies to stop Bella hearing the truth about the loan sharks and she suspects he is cheating on her. They break up and Bella instantly jumps into a serious relationship with bad boy surgeon Isaac Worthington

. Brodie warns Bella off Isaac and they too soon break up. Brodie admits the truth to Bella and the two continue their relationship.

Bella accidentally makes Brodie fall down the stairs, having canceled ACC, he can not afford the medical bills for his fractured shoulders. Brodie is forced to admit he took out a loan to Murray who buys him out of the bar in disgust.

Brodie hears that new bad boy Regan Ames is terminally ill, and kindly agrees to transport goods for him. However after receiving the goods, he learns they are class A drugs. Regan secretly steals them from Brodie, which results in a dangerous drug lord going after Brodie. Bella agrees to skip the country with him but when Brodie learns the drug lord will kill him if he finds him, Brodie ditches the country, leaving Bella a note saying he loves her.
