The Station is funded by Bridgewater subscribers of Comcast.

Bridgewater This Week

Bridgewater This Week is a weekly news magazine program designed to inform Bridgewater residents about events occurring in the town. It is said to be one of the highest rated categorical news magazine programs in southern New England, and is the only program on the channel that is sponsored by BTV-9.

In July 2008, Bridgewater This Week's 20th Anniversary Show, highlighting BTV-9's 20 year history, won The National Alliance for Community Media "Hometown Video Awards," in the "About Access," category. The show was produced by BTV-9's News Producer, Alicia Fortin. Along with Fortin, station manager Jeff Fowler, chief editor Jason Pritchard and news anchor Joe Studley traveled to Washington DC to accept the award.

Sports

BTV-9 is the official home of the Bridgewater-Raynham Athletics, Bridgewater State College Football and Basketball, the MASCAC Conference Tournaments, Northeast-10's Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, the NCAA Division II Regional Basketball Tournaments, and The Brockton Rox Professional Baseball team.
