. His desire to become a broadcaster manifested early in his life. At London Sr. Secondary in Richmond he ran the school radio station (CFLY) for two years. He MC'd all station events and swept the school's broadcasting awards.
At age 18, he enrolled in the British Columbia Institute of Technology
