Bravo!FACT funds shorts from various subject matters, genres and styles including animation, drama, comedy, dance, and more. Bravo!FACT was established in 1995 by Bravo!, a Canadian specialty television channel devoted to the arts, as a condition of licence. The fund is supported entirely by Bravo!, and the shorts air on Bravo! weekly, on In Short and previously on Bravo!FACT Presents

  • Stimulate public interest in Canadian excellence in the arts.
  • Encourage the creation of new ways of presenting the arts on television.
  • Increase public recognition of Canadian artists and their works.
  • Provide professional opportunities for film and video-makers.
