The Boskone were the alien villains in the E.E. 'Doc' Smith's Lensman series and used mainly in the animated series.
In the books, 'Boskone' is a term used by the Lensmen for pirates of various species and with a hidden leadership. It is eventually traced to a 'Council of Boskone', Eich of the planet Jarnevon. But even they are just agents of Ploor and Eddore.
