 in July 2005. In January 2008 he was transferred to Croatian Druga HNL side NK Slavonac CO, and was an important member of the squad which finished fourth in the 2008–09 Druga HNL season. Although the club earned a promotion spot, they were relegated instead for failing to find a suitable ground for hosting top-flight matches. Following the decision, the club released most of their players, so Golubović joined NK Međimurje on a free transfer in July 2009.
