The school started as Bohol Chinese School with campuses along Libertad Street, now CPG Avenue. After its student population grew beyond the capacity of the old campus, the institution, later known as the Bohol Wisdom School, transferred to its present location in a sprawling lot along CPG North Avenue, across the New Capitol Site. In March 2004, it was announced that Bohol Wisdom College will be opening its Teacher Education offering Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEED) and subjects on Mathematics
