Blythe Hill Fields park is a well treasured and beautiful area of open land commanding spectacular panoramic views of Central London, Kent and Surrey from one of South East London's numerous hills.

Friends

The Friends of Blythe Hill Fields, an active 'friends' group, meets regularly and exists to represent everyone living around or using Blythe Hill Fields. Their purpose is to achieve sustainable improvements and facilities in this vital resource for the benefit of the whole community. Since 2007, the Friends have organised an annual Festival featuring local food traders, musicians, dance troupes and craftspeople.

The children’s playground is situated near to the Blythe Hill Lane entrance. It has recently been refurbished following the successful bid for a Playbuilder Grant. This has seen the introduction of educational planting and natural materials in the first upgrade of facilities for many years. In the past the play area was manned and was supervised.
