Blairgowrie High School seeks to promote the development and progress of all our pupils academically, personally and socially. Pupils will find many opportunities to become involved in sports and activities which will develop their abilities and their attitudes as they progress through the school.

Our aims are to make Blairgowrie the kind of school where:

Pupils want to come and learn

Parents want to send their children

Staff want to come and work.

To make this happen our school community should be one where we all treat each other with respect and show courtesy and concern. In this way pupils will feel supported and able to make new friends and do their best in all aspects of their work.

In 2005, the school was one of the first twenty eight schools in Scotland to be awarded Schools of Ambition
