Blaenffos Baptist Chapel (Capel y Bedyddwyr Blaenffos) was originally built in 1785 and renovated in 2005.

Education

In 1879, Blaenffos Primary School opened its doors for the first time. Before this, the school was held in the vestry of the village's Baptist Chapel. The first headteacher was Mr W. Hughes (1879-1913). The school closed in 2004.
