Ben Newman

Ben Newman is an award winning music video, short film and television commercial director based in London, England.
Having worked on numerous music shows for the BBC, Channel 4 and MTV in the early 2000's, Newman made a number of budget videos for artists he'd had contact with during this time before being signed to Between The Eyes, a music video production company, in February 2010 . Between The Eyes were subsequently merged into Pulse Films, a music video, advertising and feature film production company, in February 2011 who Newman continues to be represented by.
In 2009 Newman won the opportunity to direct his own short screenplay, "War School", which he had written in a competition run by Ctrl.Alt.Shift
. The film went on to win both the 2010 Junior Award for Best Short and the Youth Film Makers Award from the BFI .
In October 2010, Newman won two awards at the 2010 UK Music Video Awards, the prestigious Best New Director award and the award for Best Budget Video for the Devil's Gun Zeitgeist remix of "Watch The Sun Come Up
