Bellstar Hotels & Resorts Ltd. (Bellstar) develops and operates hotels & boutique resorts in Western Canada. Bellstar currently manages 8 condo-resorts as well as several rental homes across western Canada in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains and in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley Wine Country, and the Kootenays. Resort locations include Canmore, AB, and various locations throughout British Columbia including Osoyoos, Golden, Crawford Bay, Oliver, and Kelowna.

Mystic Springs Chalets terminated Bellstar as their manager September 2011. This was after the Strand, in Kelowna, B.C., also terminated Bellstar as their manager back in September 2010.

All Bellstar managed properties are rated in the Canada Select rating system.

History

Founded in 1999 Bellstar Management Uk Ltd. is an independent property management company.

Ed Romanowski founded the company in 2003 with Bellstar's first management contract. Bellstar has established a boutique brand that is recognized by real estate and hospitality industries across Canada. Bellstar's first development contract was in partnership with the Osoyoos Indian Band and together they created Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort & Spa, a successful 4.5 star resort in Osoyoos, BC built on band land.

Bellstar won the silver award for best e-marketing campaign at the Canadian Tourism Awards in 2007. Bellstar's Canmore properties were the recipient of the 2008 Employer of Choice Award by the AHLA.

Bellstar participates in Green Key Global and The MPI Foundation Canada's Green Key Meetings program, a comprehensive assessment tool for hotel and resort properties that host meetings of any size. Each Bellstar property has been individually rated by Green Key so that you, the guest, can better understand the level of sustainable practices at the property.
