Bellsquarry is a small area in the south of Livingston next to Murieston
, Scotland
. Like Livingston Village and Livingston Station it became part of Livingston when the town was built in 1962. Bellsquarry still has a village hall and old buildings, however, there are no shops. The area has several fields surrounding it. There is a children's playpark and a wooded area with trails connecting Bellsquarry to Murieston, and a primary school. The Elm Tree Inn located at the village square, re-opened in early 2005 as a pub (downstairs) and restaurant (upstairs). Bellsquarry is situated just off the Edinburgh to Kilmarnock road (A71). The name Bellsquarry comes from the local limestone quarry and the owner Mr Bell.
