Lurgio Middle School and Bedford High School comprise one 300000 sq ft (27,870.9 m²) building. This was done to support economies of scale (shared kitchen, auditorium, security), but they operate as separate schools with different entrances, bus schedules, start times and end times. Additionally, key-controlled access is required to move between schools.
