Beau Henry is a rugby league

, Henry played his junior football for the Warilla Gorillas. He then later played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons lower grade sides starting from 2006. In 2008 Henry joined the Dragons Toyota Cup side and in 2009, Henry received the 2009 National Youth Competition player of the year award, the U20's equivalent of the Dally M Player of the Year award. As well as that Henry was also named as the Halfback of the Year in the NYC. In 2009, Henry was linked to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and almost signed with the North Queensland Cowboys
but was convinced not to by First-Grade coach, Wayne Bennett. He played on with the Dragons to 2010 without yet making an appearance in the Telstra Premiership. In June, 2010 he signed with the Newcastle Knights
NRL side.
for 3 years starting in 2011.
He made his NRL debut for the Knights in Round 1 of 2011 against the Penrith Panthers
. He celebrated by scoring a try.
mid way through the 2011 season after being told he was not wanted for the 2012 season by the Knights. This was the second time Henry had been forced out of a Wayne Bennett coached team.
