The Barossa Valley railway line, is a freight only line, running from Gawler Central Station to the Penrice Soda Works in the Barossa Valley, 84 km north of Adelaide.

Regular passenger services have not been seen on the line since 2003, with the withdrawal of the Barossa Wine Train. Commuter passenger services were earlier withdrawn on 16 December 1968.

In 2010, the track between Angaston and Nuriootpa was ripped up and a bike path was put in place.
