Barbara Fialho

Barbara Fialho is a Brazilian fashion model. She was born in the city of Montes Claros, Minas Gerais.

At 15 years of age she left her home town and moved to the city of São Paulo to work as a model for São Paulo Fashion Week and Rio Fashion Week.
Barbara made such an instant impact in Brazil that after just three months she moved to New York to travel the fashion circuit of NY, Milan and Paris.

In almost a decade of modeling since, Barbara has worked with some of the most prestigious designers and publications in fashion. Including but not limited to covers and editorials for: ELLE, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazar, Numero, Nylon, L'officiel, Vogue Italia; She has walked for the Fashion Shows of: Dior, Givenchy, John Galiano, Missoni, Alexander McQueen among others.
Barbara was an exclusive model of the British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, for two consecutive seasons of Paris Fashion Week.
At the beginning of 2010, Barbara worked with fashion photographer David Gubert in Mykonos, Greece for Marie Claire to recreate some of the most memorable scenes of Italian actress Sophia Loren. Barbara’s resemblance to the Italian silver screen star in the editorial caused the Brazilian press to dub her the ‘Brazilian Sophia Loren.’

For the Summer 2012 season, Barbara returned to Brazil for São Paulo and Rio Fashion week. She participated in a number of high profile swimwear shows and the press voted the exotic beauty the ‘best body of the season.’

Barbara appeared on the James Bond inspired music video of the song " Bright Lights Bigger City ' of the American rapper Ceelo Green.

Barbara Fialho lives in New York City.
