 marque and is manufactured in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang, China. It was launched at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, and went on sale in August 2011.

The 630 is powered by a 109 bhp 1.5 L engine producing 108 lbft and mated to a five-speed transmission. The car is 4597 mm (181 in) long, sits on a 2640 mm (103.9 in) wheelbase and weighs 1206 kg (2,658.8 lb).

The car was was developed at the SAIC-GM Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center in Shanghai. While not visually similar to other GM cars, it has been suggested that the 630 is based on the Buick Excelle/Daewoo Lacetti
